Visual Description
Reflexion is a contemplative, symbolic cover design that channels the album’s themes of self-examination, time, and transformation into a single layered image. A faceless figure, adapted from a studio portrait and digitally reimagined, stands at the centre — anonymous yet personal. Textured details in the beard and watch hint at individuality, while the absence of facial features invites the viewer to step into the scene.
Behind the figure, blurred silhouettes radiate into a deep, shifting blue backdrop — a visual echo of memory, motion, and the many versions of the self we carry through life. Above, the bold title “REFLEXION” is anchored by the artist’s name below, with a faint mirrored reflection reinforcing the theme that what we perceive is only part of the whole.
Visual Concept

The journey began with a simple, still photograph — me in formal black attire, standing against a neutral background. From there, I applied my knowledge of digital manipulation to strip away unnecessary detail, introducing a minimalist, stylised form while retaining key textures for depth.
The colour palette was deliberately restrained, allowing the layered silhouettes and shifting blues to carry the emotional weight. This blurring effect became the visual heartbeat of the design — suggesting time passing, identities merging, and the flow of personal history.
Typography was the final layer: bold, modern lettering for the title to convey strength, paired with a cleaner typeface for my name to balance clarity and intimacy. The mirrored wordmark in the background was added to subtly strengthen the album’s reflective theme without distracting from the central figure.
